iRiverter is a cross-platform frontend to mencoder designed to facilitate the conversion of almost any video format to one that is playable on iriver and iAudio multimedia players. Workaround for iriverter 0.14 on Windows XP
A lot of people have been telling me that iriverter simply doesn't run on their computers. I have traced this down to an issue with iriverter on Windows XP. To workaround this, go to C:\Program Files\iriverter\, right click on iriverter.exe, and go over to the compatiblity tab. Enable Windows 2000 compatiblity and apply. iriverter should run fine then.
